On the Thursday before the Annual Rose Festival Grand Floral Parade in June of each year, we host and coordinate an Annual Rose Festival Reception with the Mayor of Portland at City Hall. Each year we feature special guests, delegations from several of our Sister Cities, sign a Friendship Memorandum, reaffirming our special relationship with each of our Sister Cities, and celebrate special accomplishments, such as Sister City Association Anniversaries & special projects of mutual benefit that have been facilitated between the City of Portland & our Sister Cities around the world.
